As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the countries recognized as Nuclear Weapons States under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) are the following:
1. China
2. France
3. Russia (formerly recognized as the Soviet Union)
4. the United Kingdom
5. the United States
India, Israel, and Pakistan are not recognized as Nuclear Weapons States under the NPT because they are non-signatories to the treaty. However, it is worth noting that all three countries possess nuclear weapons.
