The last ruler of the Tughluq dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate was Nasir-ud-din Mahmud. He succeeded his father, Ghiyas-ud-din Tughluq Shah II, and ruled from 1394 to 1413. Nasir-ud-din Mahmud`s reign marked the decline of the Tughluq dynasty, and he faced numerous challenges and revolts during his rule. After his death, the Tughluq dynasty was overthrown by Khizr Khan, who established the Sayyid dynasty.
