Keibul Lamjao National Park is unique in being a swamp with floating vegetation that supports a rich biodiversity. It is located in the state of Manipur, India. The national park is famous for being the world`s only floating national park, and it is predominantly composed of floating mass of vegetation called phumdis. The phumdis provide habitat to the endangered Manipur brow-antlered deer, also known as the Sangai. The park is known for its unique ecosystem and diverse wildlife, making it a significant conservation area in the country.
