During the Second World War, the three Axis Powers were Germany, Italy, and Japan. These countries formed an alliance and fought against the Allied Powers. Germany, under the leadership of Adolf Hitler, aimed to expand its territory and establish a fascist regime. Italy, led by Benito Mussolini, also sought to expand its influence and create a fascist state. Japan, headed by Emperor Hirohito, desired to establish a Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. However, China was not one of the three Axis Powers during the war. In fact, China was one of the Allied Powers and played a significant role in resisting the Japanese invasion. China was led by Chiang Kai-shek and fought against Japan`s aggression throughout the war.
