  1. The statement is incorrect. While the Attorney General of India and Solicitor General of India are the top law officers of the Government, they are not the only officers allowed to participate in the meetings of the Parliament of India. Any officer of the Government can be called to participate in the meetings of the Parliament if the Parliament deems it necessary.

  2. The statement is incorrect. The Attorney General of India does not submit his resignation when the Government which appointed him resigns. He is appointed by the President of India and holds office during the pleasure of the President. However, it is customary for the Attorney General to resign when a new Government takes over to give the new Government the freedom to appoint its own Attorney General.
